As a lounge band, TwinSet have a huge repertoire of music, covering Nostalgia to Contemporary, with the sound of a Big Band, yet the tight package of a Duo.

For a function, sophisticated dinner music can be performed live while your people are either arriving or eating and the night can have a full programme of music. A floor show can also be performed, making TwinSet very unique, then party music that very importantly, can be tailored for any special event.
John Charter brings a wealth of talent and experience, having studied classical piano in the 50’s, been a Delltone between 1979 and 1984 and also spent two years as musical director of TV’s 'Bandstand'. He continued on a successful road as musical director to many top rating production shows and recording stars, spending from 1968 to 1977 in the Far East and the USA and 8 years as producer and musical director at Stepping Out Theatre Restaurant in Penrith.
John has his own recording studio and continues to update his skills with the latest computer technology that brings the best quality music and sound to the duo. Added to this is his talent as a multi-instrumentalist playing: piano/keyboards, Alto & Tenor saxophones, trumpet, Flugal Horn, Cornet , compering and singing.
Shayne-Anne
O’Leary
has
performed in cabaret and production shows both here and overseas and has spent
many years travelling throughout South-East Asia working in 5 star hotels and on
Cruise ships. Hailing from a show business family (her father, Jack O’Leary,
was one of Australia’s best known comics, while her brother, Dean O’Leary,
is one of Sydney’s ‘great’ guitarists and performers). Shayne hit the
stage at the age of 5 at the Hordern Pavillion as part of the Andy Williams
Show. Yes growing up in the O’Leary household did make for an absolutely
wonderful and wacky childhood and a great sense of humour.
John presents a duo that is unsurpassed for quality of musical performance and entertainment value as their peers can attest, voting them MO Award winners in 1994, 1995, 2000 and 2001, and nominees in 96, 97, 98 and 99 for best Duo, also Ace award nominees for 6 years.
